Ciao,
Every cloud had a silver lining. This is a phrase that I've grown up with and I love it! Partly because I love clouds but partly because I like the notion.
Yes, there may be heavy grey clouds hauting and daunting your sky, but just look at them. A lacey beauty surrounds each one. A fragile outline that brings true meaning to the word "Pretty". A silver lining.
And then very recently I was reading an article about Looking up, (which I cannot for the life of me find right now!) and it sort of ties in with this idea. It basically said:
When we're just walking around and facing foward, the part of the brain that receive all of the lovely chemicals that make us feel good and happy and confident and strong and just generally lovely, is blocked up!
Not completley.
But almost.
And this means that we're missing out on some feel-good hormones! Boo!
I don't know about you but I want all the feel-goods I can get! So how can we get these hormones flowing again? Simple!
When we look up it moves this little bloackage and all the lovely-juvly chemicals start a-flowing. this gives us a sudden boost - like when a stranger compliments you!
So here's a top tip from Vixxie May:

and yes, I do know who T. Rex are, though I confess I haven't heard much of them
This is a nice, cheerful post, I didn't know about the "looking up" thing, that's neat!

Hey, thanks for dropping by!
And on the T.Rex front?
You should hear more of them! Squeal! I gotta say Ride a white swan, Hot love, Life's a gas, Telegram sam and Solid gold easy action have to be my favourites! Try them, if you get chance.
And yeah, looking up - who knew you could literally lift your mood?! ^_^
why are you so adorable?
Taffy, why are you so able to make my day?! ^_^
your blog is so fun. :)
... And make animal shapes out of the big, puffy clouds!
